Benjamin Weaver
Editor-In-Chief
“The writing is clever and takes me to a world of elegance.” — Rick Owens
Founded by Benjamin Weaver, The London List is a digital publication dedicated to art, architecture and interiors, presenting carefully researched essays alongside interviews with artists, makers and industry figures. With a particular focus on the aesthetic movements that have shaped the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, the magazine offers a critical perspective on design—past and present—addressing broader cultural questions with intellectual independence and scholarly rigour. Its research is recognised internationally, with articles cited in major auction catalogues, including those published by Phillips.
Weaver read Architecture at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, before undertaking postgraduate study at the University of London. Alongside his editorial work, he advises private clients on the acquisition and display of art, antiques and decorative arts. He has written extensively for publications, galleries and institutions, including Sotheby’s, Cabana Magazine, Maison Royère, and Galerie Jacques Lacoste. In 2023, he co-authored a monograph on the artist Marianna Kennedy with art historian Dan Cruickshank, published by Fondazione Luigi Rovati.
